Role Summary

As a Quality, Health, and Safety Officer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and implement daily QHSE practices across our facilities. This role is vital for fostering a secure workplace and ensuring that our products adhere to quality standards through systematic inspections and compliance checks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Routine Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of work environments to ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper equipment usage.
  • Monitor the handling of hazardous materials and the maintenance of safety equipment.
  • Ensure the correct use and storage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Identify and report unsafe behaviors or conditions that could jeopardize employee safety or environmental integrity.
  • Recognize and document any deviations that may affect employee wellbeing, environmental safety, or product quality.

Quality Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality management procedures to uphold product and process standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of health, safety, and quality activities, contributing to the preparation of QHSE reports.
  • Promptly report near-miss incidents to mitigate potential risks.

Quality Inspections:

  • Perform quality assessments of products to ensure compliance with company standards and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to address any identified quality concerns.
  • Establish and uphold quality management systems and procedures.

Candidate Profile

  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field.
  • A collaborative spirit to support organizational growth.
  • Demonstrated success in Quality, Health, and Safety practices.
  • Experience with ISO certifications and audits is advantageous.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in the service industry or related fields is preferred.
  • Relevant industry certifications or training are beneficial.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective communication and training skills.
