Reliable equipment technician sought for a challenging role at US Engine Valve. In this position, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machine malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring that job functions maintain or improve product quality. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited school and advanced education in a related field or equivalent work experience. Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred. The salary for this position is $25 - $30/hour, with a $1,000 signing bonus and $500 referral opportunities available. The position is located in Pendleton, SC 29670, and the shift information is as follows: 3rd shift, 12-hour rotation between Week 1 and Week 2. Week 1 includes Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday, and Week 2 includes Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Every other weekend is off. The shift hours are 7pm - 7am, and overtime is mandatory. The preferred qualifications for this position include experience in working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC, the ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, and the ability to operate a Hilift/Forklift. Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training are also provided.
