Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Job Description:

As a RN/LVN Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in overseeing the delivery of patient care services, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and oversee the provision of patient care services consistent with accepted standards of care and as prescribed by the attending physician.
  • Provide direct patient care and assign duties to LPNs/LVNs and/or nursing assistants as appropriate.
  • Ensure patient care is delivered in accordance with accepted standards of practice.
  • Observe, assess, and report patient conditions/changes and document in accordance with Cantex's Clinical Policy and State/Federal guidelines and regulations.
  • Administer medication/treatments as prescribed, receive, transcribe, and execute physicians' orders.
  • Evaluate and implement a patient's care plan, identify and secure equipment and supplies.
  • Direct, monitor, and coordinate the timely delivery of quality patient care by all subordinate staff.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school and holds a current and valid license in the appropriate state.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in either a long-term care or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
