Job Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients undergoing surgical or diagnostic procedures in the Day Surgery Unit.">
  • Apply critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care to patients.">
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.">
  • Provide effective communication, confidence, and professionalism in interactions with patients, families, and healthcare teams.">
  • Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution.">
  • At least one year of experience in Day Surgery or Pre-Op care.">
  • A current RN license in Texas or a Multi-State Compact License (obtain Texas RN license within 90 days of hire date).">
  • BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS preferred.">
