Key Responsibilities:

  • Function as a member of the surgical team in the scrub role during procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field to ensure patient safety
  • Participate in maintaining the readiness of the Operating Room
  • Maintain a professional work environment and demonstrate accountability for personal development

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
  • Ability to work well with internal and external customers
  • Fine motor skills and ability to wear a surgical mask and gloves
  • Auditory skills to hear individuals with muffled speech
  • CPR certification and Certified Surgical Technologist certification within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions and in difficult situations
  • May be exposed to hazardous materials and life-threatening diseases
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including holidays, and take call as needed
