Avera Behavioral Health Center offers an exciting opportunity for 2025 New Grads to join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Adult C Unit.
As a Behavioral Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing patient-focused care in a dynamic and challenging environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and be eager to learn and grow with our organization. We offer a competitive salary of $42.25 per hour, which is within the range of $32.00 - $46.50 per hour. This rate may vary based on experience. Our benefits package includes a sign-on bonus, student loan repayment program, and opportunities for career growth and professional development.
About the RoleThis position involves providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans. You will also have the opportunity to participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Behavioral Health setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.
- Certification in specialty encouraged.
