Job Title: Okta IAM Access Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Okta IAM Access Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As an Okta IAM Access Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing access control solutions to ensure secure and efficient user access across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning processes, ensuring compliance with security policies
  • Monitor and troubleshoot IAM systems to ensure high availability and performance
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of IAM processes, recommending improvements as needed
  • Document IAM processes, configurations, and workflows for knowledge sharing and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define access control policies and role-based access strategies

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with a focus on Okta
  • Strong understanding of SSO, MFA, and identity federation concepts
  • Experience with user provisioning systems and role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Familiarity with API integrations and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for automation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Okta Certified Administrator or similar certification
  • Experience with other IAM tools and technologies (e.g., Azure AD, Sailpoint ISC, CyberArk)
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GXP) and their implications for IAM
