POSITION SUMMARY
Deliver exceptional massage therapy services to guests utilizing various techniques and products. Administer body treatments including scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy. Evaluate guest requirements and inquire about any contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) prior to commencing services. Stay informed about the latest techniques and modalities in the field. Guide guests to and from treatment areas. Organize the treatment environment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness. Regularly check in with guests to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the session. Promote and market spa services, including retail products related to the Spa. Maintain and sterilize tools, ensuring a hygienic workspace and treatment area throughout the shift. Dispose of waste and manage supplies and equipment responsibly at the end of each shift. Adhere to the daily schedule, managing time effectively. Address any inappropriate guest behavior in accordance with company policies, which may include halting a treatment and notifying a supervisor. Keep skills and licensure current as per regional regulations.
Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management; complete necessary safety training and certifications. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure a professional appearance and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information; safeguard company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address their service needs; express gratitude with genuine appreciation. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Foster positive working relationships with colleagues. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. Lift, carry, push, pull, and place items weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
Related Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related field.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
License or Certification: Valid State or Regional Massage License.
