Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Longview Regional Medical Center. As a critical care RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
  • Perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice
  • Promote patients' independence by teaching them self-care skills and empowering them to take control of their health
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire
  • Approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
  • ACLS and PALS certification required within 90 days of hire; ENCP and TNCC certifications are required within 6 months with facility program
  • A minimum of two (2) years of critical care experience
