POSITION SUMMARY

The Central Maintenance Technician at Florim USA is essential in maintaining the uninterrupted functionality of our manufacturing machinery.

Responsibilities include conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical problems, and programming PLCs. Your technical skills will bolster our dedication to producing sustainable, high-quality products while adhering to safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS

Pre-Employment Screening:
Candidates must successfully complete pre-employment drug screening and background verification.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should hold a one-year certificate from a college or technical institution.

Experience:
A minimum of one year of relevant experience in machinery maintenance is required.

Mechanical Maintenance Skills:
Hands-on experience in machinery upkeep, focusing on engines, motors, and conveyor systems.
Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical devices for efficient resolution.
Familiarity with power supply wiring and conduit installation.
Competence in using metalworking tools such as lathes, drill presses, and grinders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
Diagnose and address mechanical and electrical challenges.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Design and improve programs and software for PLCs and operator interfaces.
Set up computers and install necessary PC applications for operational requirements.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
Diagnose electrical system issues using schematics and layouts.
Perform calculations for wiring and electrical equipment installations.
Maintain and repair process control instrumentation devices.
Utilize VFDs, servomotors, and other electrician's tools for maintenance tasks.
Support scheduled maintenance activities and promptly report equipment status.
Accurately document all maintenance activities.
Adhere strictly to standard operating and safety procedures.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Starting Pays:
$22.00 to $25.00 per hour, with Night Shift Differential of $3.00 per hour.
