Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Kittery Trading Post. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the sales floor and checkout areas
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point of sale system
