Job Summary
This per diem position at Facility Waldo County General Hospital offers variable hours and requires a team player to work effectively with medical staff, nurses, administration, and support services. The successful candidate will assist licensed nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering direct care to patients in IV therapy and oncology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the oncology unit, including secretarial and receptionist duties.
- Assist with patient care, including preparing patients for treatments and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Successful completion of an approved C.N.A. program and certification by the State of Maine.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and typing skills of 45 w.p.m. preferred.
