Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Canvassing Strategy Lead to spearhead the expansion of our canvassing initiatives. This pivotal role involves crafting and executing effective canvassing strategies, as well as recruiting and training new team members to drive lead generation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate Lumina's canvassing approach.
  • Partner with the Human Resources department to identify, interview, and onboard new canvassing personnel.
  • Oversee and guide a team of canvassers to ensure impactful outreach in designated regions.
  • Provide training, support, and constructive feedback to enhance team performance and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Organize team schedules and activities to optimize outreach effectiveness and productivity.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of canvassing efforts and outcomes.
  • Prepare daily reports detailing outreach activities, interactions, and lead generation results.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the canvassing team, including lead conversion rates and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Regularly communicate KPI performance to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Focus on generating high-quality leads for further engagement by sales teams.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighborhoods to promote the organization as needed.

Qualifications:
On your first day, we expect you to possess:

  • Experience in the solar industry, with a solid understanding of solar products and services.
  • A background in direct sales, marketing, or canvassing.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team of canvassers or sales representatives.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective canvassing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Google Workspace, Zoom, and other relevant technological tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
