Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Nursing Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who holds 24-hour administrative accountability for overseeing all nursing operations within the designated departments.
- Oversees, evaluates, plans, and implements patient care delivery.
- Formulates and executes departmental strategies, including performance enhancement initiatives and adherence to current regulations.
- Supervises and assesses all staff assigned to the unit, ensuring effective utilization of nursing personnel and accountability to the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing.
- Facilitates clear communication with team members, physicians, and administrative personnel, both in writing and verbally.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire and must be maintained.
3. A minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience is essential.
4. At least three years of continuous clinical experience in an acute care environment.
5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire and must be maintained.
6. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required for all new hires.
Compensation Range: $86,361.60 to $108,430.40 annually
