Fence Estimator

At Seegars Fence Company, we are seeking a skilled Fence Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our plan room team, you will be responsible for searching online plan rooms for bid opportunities, analyzing them, and producing customized bid packages for our offices. Your expertise in reading blueprints, project specifications, and detail drawings will be essential in delivering accurate and reliable plans to our branch offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Search online plan rooms daily for newly listed projects and addenda to existing plans.
• Thoroughly review project plans and specifications, highlighting fence, hand rail, guardrail, gates, access control systems, and other miscellaneous metal requirements.
• Provide SFC branch estimators with thorough and timely bid packages to enable them to produce accurate and competitive bids.
• Constantly observe processes and seek improvement in both safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Superior computer skills (MS Office, Internet, and Bluebeam PDF Editor).
• Ability to think quickly and problem solve.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to details.
