Focus Staff is a leading travel healthcare staffing agency seeking a highly skilled Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist to fill a challenging contract position in Providence, Rhode Island.

About the Role
  • This 13-week contract assignment requires a skilled Respiratory Therapist with a strong focus on patient care and quality outcomes.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive respiratory care services to critically ill patients.

We offer a very competitive pay package for this position, including a tax-free stipend amount of $150,000 per year (subject to confirmation), based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. Additionally, our benefits package includes health insurance coverage and 401K matching.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient conditions and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide high-quality respiratory care services, including ventilator management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  • Promote a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Current CPR or BCLS certification is mandatory, with ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
