Job Description

The Medical Transcription Specialist will document information in the electronic medical record at the direction of the physician or advanced practice clinician. This role involves no patient care responsibilities or clinical oversight.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED is required, while a 4-year degree is preferred. Six months of customer service experience in the medical field is also beneficial. The ideal candidate should possess working knowledge of medical terminology and technical spelling, computer aptitude, communication skills, and organizational abilities.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
