Agricultural Specialist

We are seeking a Custom Applicator at our Grand Forks, ND location in the Country Operations Division. As a key member of our team, you will promote the proper use of crop protection products, working closely with customers to ensure their needs are met. This role offers growth potential and mobility within CHS.

1. Apply fertilizer and crop protection products under general supervision, including the use of high-clearance sprayers or floaters.
2. Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner, educating them on products being applied, techniques used, and how to continue supporting them with products and services.
3. Assist the sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and patron needs are met.
4. Perform warehouse work, including driving a loader, forklift, mechanics, and maintenance, as well as lifting and loading products (1-2 hours per day).
5. Pick up and deliver product to customers as needed.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1 year of experience in Agriculture Production, Operations, and/or Agriculture Application.
• Meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to work additional hours to meet business demand.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Applicator's license preferred.
• Chemical application education preferred.
• Previous application experience preferred.
• Farming background preferred.
