About the Role
MyMichigan Health is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a rotating schedule of 4-10 hour days per week, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient clinic setting, rounding inpatients, and performing surgeries in the operating room.
- Participate in vein harvesting procedures.
- Take call on a 1:3 basis.
Certifications and Licensures
- AHA-approved BLS Certification is required.
- AHA-approved ACLS Certification is also required.
Education and Experience
- A graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program is required.
- One year of experience in the operating room is required.
Onboarding and Training
- Our robust onboarding and training program will ensure a smooth transition into the role.
- Employment is contingent on successful completion of MyMichigan Health's credentialing process.
