Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing advanced clinical pharmacy services to patients with thoracic oncology conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide drug therapy design and monitoring, patient medication counseling, and participate in Collaborative Drug Therapy Management (CDTM)
  • Service as a fully coordinated member of the inpatient services and ambulatory clinics to provide advanced clinical pharmacy services
  • Guide the preceptorship of PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy residents and pharmacy students
  • Develop and implement treatment guidelines and pharmacy policies
  • Provide education and training to hospital staff through Grand Rounds presentations and in-service training
Requirements
  • PharmD (or equivalent)
  • NYS license (or eligibility)
  • A completed ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency
  • A completed ASHP-accredited PGY2 Oncology residency
Work Environment

Regular hours of work fall between Monday - Sunday, 37.5 hours per week. Flexibility may be required depending upon the needs of the department.
