Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Anesthesia Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to our patients, working closely with our board-certified Anesthesiologists to ensure the highest level of patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities- Monitor anesthesia patients and provide critical care as needed
- Assist with anesthesia procedures, including induction, monitoring, and recovery
- Work collaboratively with our Anesthesia Department to ensure seamless patient care
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest anesthesia techniques and technologies
- Current CVT/LVT/RVT certification or educational equivalent
- Minimum of three years of experience as a veterinary nurse monitoring anesthesia
- Experience with critical and non-critical cases preferred
- Strong knowledge of basic small animal medicine, including pharmacology, restraint, and laboratory testing
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
