Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiographic Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a Radiographic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to aid in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure high-quality images.
  • Implement radiation protection and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare, perform, and assist physicians in special and advanced procedures, including the administration of contrast media and medications.
  • Help position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program within 6 months of hire date required.
  • One or more of the following certifications required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Education
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multimodality Technologist proficient and Registered in CT and X-ray, ARRT.
