About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team at Kroger in Milan. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Promote Trust and Respect: Foster a positive and inclusive store environment that encourages associates to work together as a team, promote trust and respect among associates, and create an atmosphere where customers feel welcome and valued.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products sold within the department, including features, benefits, and uses, to effectively respond to customer inquiries and make suggestions about products.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers, answer questions, and provide assistance to ensure a positive shopping experience, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Transaction Processing: Process customer transactions accurately, efficiently, and professionally, handling various payment methods, including cash, credit, debit, and electronic benefits transfer (EBT), while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Front-end associates to achieve sales goals, encourage teamwork, and support colleagues in achieving their objectives.
  • Adherence to Company Policies: Understand and adhere to company guidelines on restricted sale items, pricing discrepancies, and product ordering/shipping discrepancies, reporting any issues to the appropriate departments or managers.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines, ensuring proper temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained, and temperature logs are up-to-date.
  • Safety Procedures: Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures, identifying potential hazards, and notifying management of any unsafe conditions or incidents.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $43,000-$53,000, depending on location and experience. Kroger offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
