Metal Finishing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Metal Finishing Specialist to join our team at Stealth Recruiting Services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal finishing processes, specifically in slitting, blanking, hot forming, shaping, edging, coating, buffing, and painting. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in establishing, optimizing, and enhancing processes that convert purchased aluminum slabs into high-quality finished coils.

• Develop and implement metal finishing processes to improve yield, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Analyze and refine finishing stages to optimize parameters for coating processes, buffing, and painting.
• Provide hands-on technical support to production teams, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all metal finishing processes.

The successful candidate must have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aluminum finishing processes, including slitting, blanking, hot forming, shaping, edging, coating, buffing, and painting.
• Familiarity with industry-specific techniques such as anodizing, powder coating, and pre-painted aluminum processing.

This is a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

• $90,000 - $120,000 per year (estimated based on location and experience)
