Community Support Specialist

We are seeking a part-time Community Support Counselor to join our team in Montgomery County.
- Create engaging program activities that support individuals' goals and promote their well-being.
- Provide therapeutic support to help individuals overcome challenges and achieve success.
- Develop and implement Essential Lifestyle Plans/Support Plans that cater to each individual's unique needs.
- Conduct thorough consumer assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop effective strategies for growth.
- Accompany individuals on transportation, ensuring their safe and comfortable travel.
- A bachelor's degree in rehabilitation services or special education is preferred, but relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is highly valued.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory for this role.
This is a part-time position, requiring 15 hours of work per week.
