Fuel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Fuel Technician to join our team at Ryder in Cincinnati, OH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fueling, washing, and detailing vehicles, as well as performing multi-point inspections and maintaining fuel island areas to Six Sigma standards.

• Fuel and wash vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
• Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units to identify any issues or defects
• Record fuel activity and maintain proper fuel and DEF inventories and reconciliation
• Move heavy-duty vehicles safely and efficiently
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as tire repairs under close supervision
• Maintain fuel island areas to Six Sigma standards and policies

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Two (2) years or more of related work experience, preferred
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to understand customer's verbal communication
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Understanding of computer hardware and software, especially word processing, spreadsheets, and email
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including shift work, weekends, and holidays
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred

• Competitive hourly rate: $24.36 per hour
• Monday - Friday schedule with weekends off
• 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM hours
