Role Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is accountable for the ongoing upkeep and assessment of designated properties, ensuring they are maintained in excellent condition for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned properties, reporting any significant findings to the supervisor.
- Diagnose and evaluate maintenance concerns, determining the best course of action for resolution.
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors and clients regarding the status of work orders and tasks.
- Execute work orders as assigned with a high level of skill and professionalism.
- Keep precise records of work completed and materials utilized, submitting documentation in a timely manner.
- Evaluate plumbing and electrical requirements, responding effectively to resolve issues.
- Conduct repairs on damaged properties and malfunctioning systems within the scope of expertise.
- Address emergency maintenance requests promptly.
- Monitor vendor performance and report any substandard service to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide courier or delivery services as necessary.
- Ensure the company vehicle is maintained in a safe and operational condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of two years of experience in general maintenance, including skills in electrical, plumbing, and painting. Basic computer proficiency is necessary. Ability to maintain accurate records is essential.
Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain insurability under the company vehicle liability policy.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift materials weighing up to 70 pounds. Frequent activities include standing, walking, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Fine motor skills are required.
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $23.00 per hour
