Amalgamated Bank is seeking a skilled Internal Communications Manager to develop and execute an internal communications strategy that engages employees, drives culture, and aligns with external messaging. This role reports to the Head of Communications Strategy and plays a pivotal part in elevating and enhancing internal communications to maximize engagement and adoption.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a consistent tone and voice for internal communications, balancing cultural sensitivities. They will also create a feedback mechanism to gauge the success of communication and guide the development of future communications. Additionally, they will establish an editorial board to inform a continuous pipeline of stories that drive engagement and highlight company successes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, English, Journalism, or equivalent experience, and at least 6 years of experience in managing Public Relations, corporate communications, or equivalent competencies. They will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills, able to work with and engage cross-functional constituents.

We offer a competitive salary range of $89,000 to $105,000, depending on factors such as training, transferrable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
