Job Title: Level I IT Technician

We are seeking a skilled Level I IT Technician to join our team in Vandalia, OH. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the continuity of computer systems for all users
  • Provide support for mobile hardware, including Apple and Samsung devices, as well as telecommunications services
  • Manage, install, and troubleshoot telephone systems and other equipment
  • Support Google-based business applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to operating systems, hardware, and software applications
  • Set up equipment for employees and assist with moving equipment
  • Coordinate with software and hardware vendors to resolve technical issues
  • Develop training materials and procedures, and train users on hardware and software
  • Provide timely solutions for issues with client applications
  • Log and track support calls, prioritize and escalate tickets as needed
  • Identify trends in support calls and develop documentation to address common issues
  • Recommend changes to software and hardware to improve computer capabilities
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or technical certifications in computer science or electrical engineering
  • Minimum 1-3 years of related work experience
  • Proficiency in MS Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems, MS Office Suite, and Google Workspace
  • Ability to support Apple and Android mobile phones
  • Experience with Small PDF and Auto Desk applications a plus
  • Knowledge of AWS, RingCentral, Telecommunication, Meraki, Ricoh printers, and Lexmark printers a plus
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing required
  • Frequent lifting and moving of items over 50 pounds
  • Excellent telephone presence and organized follow-up skills
  • Ability to multitask, sense of urgency, and positive attitude
  • Strong user-centric focus, service-oriented attitude, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to make decisions and take initiative
