Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation.

Job Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in MRI technology
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
About the Job:

This is a 13-week travel assignment in Youngstown, Ohio, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts. As an MRI Tech, you will be responsible for the preparation of and caring for patients undergoing MRI imaging. You will also be responsible for confirming patient identification, reviewing imaging requests, and explaining imaging procedures to patients.

The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and understanding and using the McKesson PACS system.
