Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze contracts to identify and interpret intricate financial details.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries, process payments, and perform reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with contract stipulations and commitments, including commissions, volume allowances, and profit distributions.
  • Maintain adherence to internal accounting policies and procedures in accordance with IFRS standards.
  • Verify the accuracy of monthly Profit & Loss statements for each reporting period.
  • Ensure balance sheet accounts reflect accurate balances and are reviewed and reconciled monthly.
  • Examine P&L statements and balance sheets for potential discrepancies.
  • Uphold the highest standards of internal control.
  • Drive, develop, and implement new processes while striving to identify and execute improvements for existing procedures.
  • Create and maintain checklists to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Familiarity with SAP financial module; knowledge of Access is a plus.
  • Experience in contract interpretation is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Hyperion/Essbase is a plus.
