Probation Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Probation Officer to join our team at the State of Tennessee. As a Probation Officer, you will be responsible for supervising and monitoring individuals on probation, ensuring they comply with the terms of their probation and providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular home visits and interviews with probationers to assess their progress and provide guidance and support.
• Monitor probationers' compliance with the terms of their probation, including regular check-ins, home visits, and reviews of their progress.
• Develop and implement individualized plans to help probationers achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
• Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to provide support and resources to probationers.
• Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed records of probationers' progress and activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as criminal justice, social work, or psychology.
• At least one year of experience in a related field, such as probation, parole, or social work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
