The Registered Nurse will take on the responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shift, adhering to the Health System's mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care based on age-specific criteria.
  • Making informed judgments using scientific knowledge and clinical expertise.
  • Assisting in the direction and education of non-RN staff, including LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries.
  • Demonstrating adaptability to changes in work schedules.
Submission Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of OB experience - Required
  • At least 1 travel assignment - Required
  • Ability to function as a 1st assist and Scrub OB - Required
  • Certifications: BLS & ACLS (AHA), NRP, Stable Cert - Required
  • Fetal Monitoring Certification - Required
  • BLS Certification can be pending; all others must be active at the time of submission.
Facility Information:

This facility has specific expectations for travelers, including the requirement to float to various units within their scope of practice and skill set. Refusal to float may result in the traveler being sent home without pay for the entire work week.
