Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

HealthCare Support is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at a well-known hospital in Brownwood, TX.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging and emergency procedures using nuclear medicine techniques.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and respond to their needs before, during, and after their visit to the nuclear medicine department.
  • Evaluate and maintain quality control programs for instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Assist authorized users in the application and management of therapeutic radionuclide treatment.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and staff/student orientation and training.

Required Qualifications:
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist License.
  • Graduate from an accredited nuclear medicine program.
  • 2+ years of experience in nuclear medicine required.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Texas Medical Board - MRT certification.

Compensation: $28/Hr - $35/hr (per experience). A Signing Bonus of $6k is offered for a 36-month commitment, with a payout schedule of $1,000 upon hire, $1,000 at 12 months, $2,000 at 24 months, and $2,000 at 36 months.
