Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Corfu Veterinary Clinic. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and client service.

Responsibilities
  • Client communications and appointment management
  • Phlebotomy, catheter placement, and other medical procedures
  • Anesthesia monitoring and surgical preparation
  • Running treatments and providing stellar patient care
  • Triaging patients over the phone and during office visits
  • Educating clients on routine vaccine protocol and preventions
  • Interpreting medical records and recording client history accurately
  • Knowledge in preventative care and hospital flow
  • Ability to restrain pets in a low-stress and safe manner
  • Proficient in sample collection and radiography
  • Patient care for hospitalized and surgery patients
  • Filling medications as instructed by the veterinarian
Requirements
  • A licensed veterinary technician
  • Active license in the state of New York
  • 6+ months experience working as a veterinary technician
  • Ability to arrive on-time and ready to work
  • Computer skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely
