Job Title: Engineering Technician

At Terracon, we are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our team. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials.
  • Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding project requirements and testing results.
  • Transport material samples to the laboratory for further testing and analysis.
  • Tabulate and submit data and observation in the form of written and digital reports.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assist on tasks and perform basic testing and observations duties under close supervision.
  • Provide clear documentation of findings and results.
  • Communicate information to Project Manager and discuss accuracy of data in preparation for submittal.
  • Submit documentation and communicate results as directed by the Project Manager.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6 months experience required.
  • Obtain ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Successful completion of related internal safety certifications.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
