We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Psychiatrist to join our team at Burke Center, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

Job Summary:

As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments with patients as needed. You will also provide expert support and consultation to other team members and service providers, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments with patients as needed.
  • Provide expert support and consultation to other team members and service providers.
  • Accurately and appropriately document patient communication and clinical treatment in our electronic health record system.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited program in psychiatry.
  • Licensure as a Physician in the state of Texas.
  • Valid Texas driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Board Certification in Adult Psychiatry and/or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry if seeing children/adolescents.
Physical Requirements:
  • Visual and auditory skills sufficient to evaluate, treat, and monitor patients.
  • Mobility required to bend, reach, lift (up to 50 pounds) while assisting patients.
  • Fine motor skills for legible handwriting and driving.
Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with emergency services participation as per current policy.

Compensation:

Salary is commensurate with experience, certification, and licensure.
