Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Relationship Banker to join our team at Bank of America. As a Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for engaging clients in the lobby to educate and assist with conducting transactions through self-service resources, such as mobile banking, online banking, or ATM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently process cash transactions for clients as needed.
  • Have deep conversations with clients to gain in-depth knowledge of their financial and life priorities and connect them to solutions that meet their financial goals.
  • Identify and address client needs, providing personalized solutions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date on Bank of America products and services, as well as industry trends and developments.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree or business-relevant associate's degree preferred.
  • One year of demonstrated successful sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment with individual sales goals.
  • Six months of cash handling experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial services and knowledge of financial services industry, products, and solutions.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the banking industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
