Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Porter to join our team at Stop & Shop. As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our store, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as disposing of trash and tidying up back rooms and work stations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, and wax floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables in a timely and efficient manner
  • Tidy up back rooms, breakrooms, and work stations to ensure a clutter-free workspace
  • Assist with other tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the store
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
