Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Nurse to join our team at UCHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing the nursing process to deliver evidence-based care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
  • Model proficiency through precepting new team members and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote patient safety and quality care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
  • ACLS within 1 year of hire.
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
