Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse to join our treatment team at Hope for Tomorrow. As a dispensing nurse, you will play a crucial role in dispensing prescribed medications, maintaining dispensing equipment, and reporting patient treatment information. This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a non-judgmental attitude towards patients struggling with substance use disorder.
Responsibilities:
- Administer daily medication to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required by Company protocol, Federal and State Regulations.
- Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances as set forth in the Code of Federal regulations.
- Order, receive, and stock medication in accordance with DEA and State regulations.
- Provide daily assessment of patients and assist Nursing Supervisor to orient new nursing staff.
- Current & good standing LPN/LVN license in the State of West Virginia.
- Current CPR certification required.
- EMR & computer proficiency desired.
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
- $60,000 - $80,000 per year (estimated salary based on location and experience).
