We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist II to join our team. As an MRI Technologist II, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocols, including placing specified coils close to areas of interest.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees in MRI procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist.
  • Fully proficient in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • Radiologic Technologist Certificate (California).
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist - Venipuncture Certificate (California) within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support.
