Tioga Plumbing & Electric is in search of a proficient Journeyman Plumber to enhance our dedicated team.

This role involves the routine maintenance and installation of plumbing systems across both commercial and residential properties. The successful candidate will adhere to all relevant plumbing regulations to ensure compliance and successful inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install plumbing and utility systems in new constructions and renovation projects, including appliances, showers, gas connections, booster pumps, water heaters, valves, faucets, and other fixtures.
- Install pressure reducing valves, backflow prevention devices, and other fixtures as mandated by code.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems previously installed at commercial locations.
- Execute necessary repairs or modifications to existing plumbing systems.
- Provide emergency repair services for ongoing and past projects.
- Stay informed about current safety regulations and requirements related to various plumbing systems.
- Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and colleagues.
- Oversee job productivity and manage crew performance.
- Document work performed at various job sites using company-provided devices.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Journeyman License is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to complete project phases within designated timelines.
- Solid understanding of water, gas, and sewer systems.
- Prior experience in commercial plumbing and maintenance is essential.
- Knowledge of testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving plumbing issues.
- Physical capability to lift and carry items exceeding 50 lbs.
- Ability to manage a physically demanding workload.
- Possession of personal hand tools and equipment for all job phases, with heavy tools and equipment provided by the company.
