Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Data Analyst to join our team at KBRA Analytics in New York. As a key member of our KFI Content team, you will play a critical role in ingesting, curating, and managing U.S. GAAP financial data for our KFI product.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, data management, and business intelligence tools such as Excel, SQL, and NOSQL. Experience with XBRL data, SEC filings, and financial statement taxonomies is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Extract and standardize XBRL data from SEC financial filings to KBRA financial statement taxonomies
  • Perform data quality assurances using various tools and data sources
  • Troubleshoot and correct data errors and exceptions
  • Manage deliverables and communication with third-party providers and vendors
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business analytics, management accounting, mathematics, or related fields
  • Two or more years of business experience
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, and exposure to IFRS and other international accounting and reporting standards
