Job Overview

Position Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and coordinates patient care within a designated surgical suite.
  • Manages time, equipment, supplies, and personnel to ensure optimal case management.
  • Addresses patient requirements during the admission process, focusing on the unique needs of the surgical center.
  • Delivers nursing care tailored to the patient's surgical condition and the type of anesthesia utilized.
  • Ensures adherence to established techniques and procedures in accordance with recognized standards of practice.
  • Assists in maintaining inventory levels of supplies, medications, and equipment to ensure availability.

Qualifications:

Position Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Employment Type: Full-Time with Flexible Shifts

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • Specialty certification is advantageous.

Experience:

  • At least one year of clinical experience as an Operating Room Staff RN is required.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire.
  • ACLS certification is necessary at the time of hire.
  • PALS certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
  • CNOR certification is preferred.

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
