Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees and coordinates patient care within a designated surgical suite.
- Manages time, equipment, supplies, and personnel to ensure optimal case management.
- Addresses patient requirements during the admission process, focusing on the unique needs of the surgical center.
- Delivers nursing care tailored to the patient's surgical condition and the type of anesthesia utilized.
- Ensures adherence to established techniques and procedures in accordance with recognized standards of practice.
- Assists in maintaining inventory levels of supplies, medications, and equipment to ensure availability.
Qualifications:
Position Title: Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Employment Type: Full-Time with Flexible Shifts
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is mandatory.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Specialty certification is advantageous.
Experience:
- At least one year of clinical experience as an Operating Room Staff RN is required.
Licensure and Certifications:
- Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification is required upon hire.
- ACLS certification is necessary at the time of hire.
- PALS certification must be obtained within six months of employment.
- CNOR certification is preferred.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
