We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Specialist to join our team at Providence St. Joseph Health. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient access services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Manage patient registration, scheduling, and billing processes
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve patient access issues
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare registration
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of healthcare software
Preferred Qualifications
  • College-level coursework in medical terminology or medical assisting
  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)
  • Previous experience in registrar and third-party payor roles
