Hematology/Oncology Specialist Position in Colorado Springs

About the Opportunity
The UCHealth Cancer Care team is seeking a new dual board certified hematologist/oncologist to enhance our dedicated group in the thriving area of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our multidisciplinary team includes hematology/oncology physicians, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, interventional radiologists, and a comprehensive supportive care staff.
Practice Overview
In this role, you will deliver general care to a diverse patient population. This unique outpatient hematology/oncology position offers a balanced work/life integration, with a call schedule of 1:9 and minimal clinic responsibilities during your call week. You will participate in high-level tumor boards at a Level 1 trauma center and provide coverage for two Memorial Hospitals within a close proximity.
Team Collaboration
As a member of the UCHealth Cancer Care team, you will collaborate with a passionate, experienced, and innovative group of professionals. Our comprehensive services include nurse navigators, social workers, genetic counseling, nutritional support, surgical oncology, oncology rehabilitation, and various support classes.
Clinical Research and Trials
We are committed to advancing cancer care through the latest clinical trials and an active tumor board schedule. Our belief is that clinical research is pivotal in shaping the future of oncology.
Collaboration with NCI Designated Cancer Center
You will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues at Colorado's only NCI designated Cancer Center located at the CU Cancer Center in Aurora.

- Annual salary range of $432,000-$479,000
