Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Tech to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of eliminating cancer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging exams on patients with a mammogram exam ordered by a physician.
• Ensure all patients are provided care in a safe environment, free of hazards, and follow established protocols and procedures to minimize errors and ensure quality care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) program.
• Registry in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
• Certification by the Texas Department of Health State Services as a Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
