About the Job

At St. Mary's Health Care System Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Surgical Unit team.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care before, during, and after surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a sterile and safe environment
  • Provide preoperative and postoperative instruction
  • Monitor physiological and psychological status of patients
  • Coordinate patient care
  • Act as a patient advocate
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia with minimum one year operating room experience or critical care experience
  • BLS and ACLS certified
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Experience preferred
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.
