Job Summary

The Cardiac Device Technician provides technical and clinical services in relation to cardiac devices and supports the heart failure service line objectives. This role involves maintenance of remote monitoring sites, interpretation of remote data, and routine in-office evaluations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cardiac device management and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and triage device reports
  • Evaluate cardiac devices
  • Provide patient education
  • Maintain and troubleshoot clinic and remote monitoring equipment
  • Assist with stress testing, EKGs, and event monitors/holters
  • Charge entry and revenue recovery
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in technical, engineering, nursing, or health science required
  • IBHRE certification preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an EP or Cath Lab or equivalent in Cardiology device clinic
  • Professional certification
  • One to three years related work experience
